Sun, Silk and a Side of Family Drama
Victoria Beckham is giving the French Riviera exactly what it deserves — effortless glamour, a £16 million yacht, and the kind of composed poise that only comes with practice. The former Spice Girl has been living her best Euro summer in Saint-Tropez alongside husband David, son Romeo, his girlfriend Kim Turnbull, daughter Harper, and Victoria's own parents Tony and Jackie, and her sister Louise. Bikinis, Birkins and Bottega Veneta shopping trips aside, however, there is one rather conspicuous absence making headlines.
Brooklyn Beckham — Victoria and David's eldest son — is currently in the same stretch of the South of France. Just not on the same boat. Not even close to the same boat, if he can help it.
The Yacht Next Door
Brooklyn has been sailing with his godfather Elton John, whose vessel was stationed in Saint-Tropez while the Beckhams' own mega-yacht cruised the same coastline. At one point, the two parties reportedly visited separate locations in town that were just five minutes apart — a near-miss that must have required some serious navigational effort on Brooklyn's part. His yacht has since moved on toward Nice, with Brooklyn and wife Nicola Peltz now some 75 miles away from his parents.

The estrangement follows Brooklyn's explosive January Instagram post, in which he accused Victoria of 'ruining' his wedding day to Peltz — a bombshell that reportedly left Victoria 'on the floor'. Elton, who remains on speaking terms with all parties, does not appear to be playing mediator with any great success. Brooklyn, meanwhile, has turned his attention back to cooking content, recently reposting a TikTok in which he scooped seawater directly from the back of the yacht to boil his pasta.
"Today I am going to make some tomato pasta. Of course we get some pasta water," Brooklyn said in the clip, to the visible horror of his comment section.
Fans were less than convinced, with one writing: "Pasta water with a hint of burnt boat fuel please, sir," and another asking: "Isn't the ocean water dirty?" The backlash was swift, though Brooklyn has previously said cooking is a genuine source of joy for him.
Meanwhile, Victoria Gets On With It
Back on the family yacht, Victoria was the picture of sun-drenched serenity. She was photographed in a nude bikini dotted with gold stars, paired with a sheer brown cover-up dress, oversized sunglasses and a wide-brimmed straw hat — an ensemble that would not look out of place on a lifestyle mood board. She also took a break from the deck for a shopping trip to Bottega Veneta in Saint-Tropez, stepping out in a plum midi slip dress and white peep-toe heels, accessorised with an Hermès Mini Picnic Kelly bag crafted from white leather and wicker.

Fifteen-year-old Harper, who recently launched her own beauty line Harlo By Harper, joined the outing in a lacy white two-piece set, while David kept things casual in a black T-shirt, athletic shorts and a backwards cap.
Away from the holiday altogether, it emerged this week that Victoria had designed the wedding dress worn by former Spice Girl Mel C, who married in Australia while Victoria and David were attending World Cup commitments in New York.
"I happened to have that exact dress in my own wardrobe and offered to lend it to her," Victoria told British Vogue, describing a dinner conversation with Mel C just two days before the wedding.
Mel C confirmed to Australia's KIIS 106.5 that Victoria had been "very disappointed" to miss the ceremony, adding that David had FIFA ambassador commitments that kept them stateside. It is, in many ways, the most Victoria Beckham story imaginable — unable to attend, she simply sent the dress off her own back instead.
