It was the wedding guest list that had everyone talking — but perhaps none more so than one particular arrival. Kylie Jenner sat front and centre at Jordyn Woods's lavish Malibu ceremony on Saturday, watching her former best friend say 'I do' to NBA star Karl-Anthony Towns, seven years after a scandal that threatened to end their friendship for good.
A reunion written in the stars
The ceremony, held overlooking the Pacific Ocean, drew some of Hollywood's biggest names — Justin and Hailey Bieber, Timothée Chalamet, Michael B. Jordan, Ben Stiller, Jada Pinkett-Smith, Gayle King and Teyana Taylor among them. But it was Kylie's presence that gave the occasion its most poignant subplot.

Kylie, 27, arrived with boyfriend Timothée Chalamet, the pair joining the Biebers to form something of an A-list double date in the crowd. Kylie wore a black halter dress with side cutouts held together with glittering rhinestone belts, while Chalamet kept things cool in a blue checkered button-down, black slacks and a leather jacket.
Jordyn, 28, looked every inch the bride in a strapless white gown with a floor-length skirt and matching lace veil. Towns, 29, was sharp in a classic black tuxedo and bow tie.
From 'I'm scared of you' to front row at the wedding
The friendship between Kylie and Jordyn was once one of the most talked-about in celebrity circles — the two were inseparable for years. That all came crashing down in 2019 when Jordyn was caught kissing Khloé Kardashian's then-boyfriend Tristan Thompson at a party. The fallout was swift and very public.
In a candid moment on Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Kylie recalled confronting Jordyn about the incident:
"I'm like scared of you now. Like, you're capable of waking up the next morning with a smile on your face."
Jordyn, for her part, later spoke openly about her remorse. In a YouTube interview, she admitted she had been in a "dark place" following the fallout.
"Not in a million years have I had a negative intention to do something bad to anyone I love," she said.
The road back was long. The pair were spotted having dinner together in Los Angeles in 2023, with a source telling Us Weekly at the time that it was Kylie who made the first move.

"She missed her and felt enough time had passed," the insider said, adding that the friendship was still a "work in progress."
A fresh chapter — and hoodies for the after-party
Clearly, that work has paid off. Saturday's wedding represented something of a full-circle moment for the two women, whose reconnection had been quietly unfolding for the past two years.
The ceremony itself was an elegantly formal affair, but once the vows were exchanged, the mood shifted considerably. Guests reportedly received hoodies emblazoned with "Married in 5" along with Fanatics party favours including sports merchandise and collectibles — a nod to Towns's career in the NBA.

Kylie had publicly celebrated the couple's Christmas Day engagement on social media, commenting "jordyyyyyyy" with a string of teary-eyed emojis. Fans were quick to spot it as confirmation that the two were well and truly back on track.

As for Jordyn and Karl-Anthony — they have come a long way since first going Instagram official in September 2020, when Jordyn shared a series of photos captioned simply: "I found you, then I found me." On Saturday, they made it official in the most spectacular fashion possible.
