If there's one thing Rihanna has never been short of, it's having the last word. The past week has handed the Barbadian superstar two very different stories — one a sharp social media exchange at Paris Fashion Week, the other a report about the terms she's reportedly demanding before she'll walk down the aisle with A$AP Rocky. Together, they paint a portrait of a woman who knows exactly what she wants and isn't shy about saying so.
One Word, Infinite Shade
It started at the Dior Spring/Summer 2027 show on 29th September in Paris. EJ Johnson — child of NBA legend Magic Johnson and best known for appearing on the E! reality series Rich Kids of Beverly Hills — took to social media after the event to share their experience. While broadly complimentary about the show itself, EJ made a pointed observation: the Dior presentation started an hour late, and they laid the blame squarely at Rihanna's door.
"We didn't care to wait for her, but the show was beautiful nonetheless," EJ said in the video, which swiftly began circulating online.
Rihanna, who was among the many stars in attendance at the Dior show that day, appeared to respond when a separate clip of EJ surfaced — this one showing them being stopped from entering a Paris hotel after posing for photographers outside. Rihanna appeared in the comments section of that post, leaving a single word 'Damn', that fans immediately clocked as a reaction to EJ's earlier remarks. The brief comment caught fire online, though neither party has elaborated publicly since.

EJ claimed the Dior show "started an hour late because Rihanna was late," a remark that did not go unnoticed — least of all, it seems, by Rihanna herself.
It was precisely the kind of low-key, high-impact response that Rihanna's fanbase has come to expect. No lengthy statement, no PR-drafted clarification — just a nudge in the right direction and let the internet do the rest.
The Prenup That's Got Everyone Talking
While the Fashion Week drama played out, a separate and rather more consequential story was doing the rounds. Reports have emerged claiming that Rihanna is pushing for an infidelity clause in a prenuptial agreement before she agrees to marry Rocky — and the terms being discussed are anything but modest. According to the circulating claim, Rocky would be required to hand over 50 per cent of his assets should he ever be unfaithful.
The framing around the reported clause is said to centre on accountability rather than punishment — the idea being that if nobody intends to cheat, nobody loses anything. It's a clean argument, and one that will resonate with plenty of people. Whether it lands the same way in a legal contract is another matter entirely.
"The love of my life" — that's how Rocky described Rihanna to GQ back in 2021, long before the couple had started a family together.

A note of caution is warranted here: the reports don't point to a specific interview, outlet, or date, and neither Rihanna nor Rocky has publicly confirmed the details. What's not in doubt is the depth of their relationship. The pair were friends and collaborators for years before going public as a couple, and they've built a family with impressive speed since then. Their son RZA was born in May 2022, Riot Rose followed in August 2023, and Rihanna revealed a third pregnancy at the 2025 Met Gala before welcoming daughter Rocki Irish that September.
A Relationship Tested and Strengthened
Rihanna has also stood firmly by Rocky through an extraordinarily difficult period. In February 2025, a Los Angeles jury acquitted him of assault charges linked to a 2021 shooting involving former A$AP Mob member A$AP Relli. Rihanna was in the courtroom when the verdict came down — a visible show of solidarity that didn't go unnoticed.
That context matters when it comes to reading the prenup story. This is not a couple in early days testing the waters. They have three children, years of shared history, and a very public bond. Which is precisely why the 50 per cent figure has sparked debate: some see it as entirely reasonable — a financial reflection of the commitment both are making — while others question why a couple so clearly invested in each other would need that kind of clause at all.

Rihanna's own financial standing also shifts the conversation considerably. Forbes named her a billionaire in 2021, largely on the back of Fenty Beauty, which is now preparing to launch its first TikTok Shop Live following a recent Instagram announcement. She is not a woman who needs anyone else's assets. The clause, if real, reads less like a financial safeguard and more like a statement of principle.
Still Waiting on the Music
Amid all of this, fans remain hopeful that Rihanna's long-awaited return to music might be edging closer. Her most recent studio album, Anti, was released in 2016, and a follow-up has been anticipated — with varying degrees of patience — ever since. Rocky, meanwhile, has kept busy with acting, fashion work, and his own delayed album rollout, most recently staging his AWGE show at Paris Fashion Week, which Rihanna attended wearing a statement ring from UAE high jewellery house Majesta's Kali collection.
Whatever is actually being negotiated behind closed doors, both Rihanna and Rocky are clearly in no rush to put the details on the record. In the meantime, a one-word comment and a headline-grabbing prenup report will do just fine.
