At what point do I get pregnant? At what point do I have my first baby?" Elizabeth Olsen once asked on SiriusXM, reflecting openly on the challenges of timing motherhood around a blockbuster Hollywood career. Well, it seems the Scarlet Witch has her answer — and the whole Olsen family has never had more to celebrate.

The Marvel star, 37, has been spotted cradling a very visible baby bump during a lunch outing at All Time restaurant in Los Angeles, confirming she and her husband, musician Robbie Arnett, are expecting their first child together. Photos of the outing spread quickly online, with fans thrilled by the happy news.

A Very Private Love Story

If you weren't already keeping tabs on Elizabeth's personal life, you'd be forgiven — the actress has always kept her relationship with Robbie firmly out of the spotlight. The couple first met through mutual friends while on holiday in Mexico back in 2017, moved in together the following year, and quietly got engaged in July 2019 after around three years of dating.

Then, in classic Elizabeth Olsen fashion, they went and got married without telling anyone. The pair eloped ahead of the coronavirus pandemic, and the world only found out when Elizabeth casually referred to Robbie as her "husband" during a 2021 interview, leaving fans doing a collective double-take.

"We eloped and then we had a wedding at another time. It was before COVID," she confirmed on The Jess Cagle Show in 2022.

Six years into their marriage, the notoriously low-key couple have yet to make an official announcement about the pregnancy — very on-brand for two people who managed to keep an entire wedding secret for over a year.

Sisters Are Celebrating

The timing could hardly be more poignant. The baby news has landed just days before Elizabeth's elder sisters, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, celebrate their 40th birthday on 13th June. The famously close-knit trio — who grew up together in the glare of extraordinary fame — now have an extra reason to raise a glass.

Mary-Kate and Ashley, who became household names as toddlers playing Michelle Tanner on Full House before building a fashion empire with their luxury label The Row, have largely retreated from public life in recent years. But family has always been at the heart of everything for the Olsens.

Elizabeth herself has spoken warmly about the bond. "They were forced to watch all my plays my whole life and go to my dance performances," she recalled with a laugh in a recent interview with The Times. When asked if her world-famous sisters had ever offered career guidance, she was refreshingly matter-of-fact: "No. We're just a supportive family. It feels irrelevant to talk about it after 15 years of working."

From Wanda Maximoff to First-Time Mum

Elizabeth has carved out a formidable career entirely on her own terms — perhaps most recognisable to millions as Wanda Maximoff, the Scarlet Witch, across Marvel's Cinematic Universe. But long before the superhero suits and Disney+ spin-offs, she'd already earned serious critical acclaim in films such as Martha Marcy May Marlene and Wind River.

Now, she's stepping into arguably her most important role yet. Back in 2021, she spoke candidly about feeling the pressure of a ticking clock: "Is that five years from now? Because then I only have this kind of a window." It turns out, she didn't need to wait nearly that long.

With the Olsen family's newest addition expected later this summer, and Mary-Kate and Ashley toasting their milestone 40th birthday at the same time, this is shaping up to be one of the most joyful chapters the famously tight-knit family has ever shared — even if Elizabeth will almost certainly keep the details delightfully to herself.
