There's growing a baby, and then there's growing a baby while leading the summer's most hotly anticipated blockbuster press tour. Anne Hathaway, 43, managed both with characteristic aplomb on Sunday, stepping onto the red carpet for the world premiere of The End of Oak Street and making absolutely sure nobody missed the bump.
The look that stopped the internet
The actress stepped out for Sunday's premiere of The End of Oak Street at the Steven J. Ross Theater in Los Angeles, turning heads in a baby blue look that put her pregnancy front and centre. The top featured a striking red interior lining and was cropped just enough in the front to reveal her bump, while the fabric flowed into a dramatic, floor-length train behind her. Hathaway completed the look with a high ponytail and a red lip.
She was joined on the night by co-stars Maisy Stella, Ewan McGregor, Jordan Alexa Davis and Christian Convery, as well as famed producer J.J. Abrams.
Social media, naturally, had a lot to say. "That baby bump and bold look are everything," wrote one fan on X, while another gushed: "Anne looks glowing! Bold choice to show off the bump like that — love the confident red carpet energy."
The buzzer-beater baby
Hathaway announced the pregnancy — her third — back in June. She and husband Adam Shulman are already parents to sons Jonathan, 10, and Jack, 6, and the actress told Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Monday that the family is fully on board. "It feels really beautiful," she said. "It feels like the family's having a baby."

As for the sex of the baby, Hathaway is giving nothing away. Guest host Anthony Anderson made his prediction on the night — boy — but the actress shut it down with a smile. "We know [but] we're not saying," she told the studio audience, adding that she "feels bad" every time she has to deflect the question.

It is scheduled to be released by Warner Bros. Pictures on 14 August 2026. That means Hathaway has days, not weeks, to enjoy a quiet moment before the full promotional machine kicks in — not that she seems to mind one bit.

The actress is slated to star in five films premiering this year: Mother Mary, The Devil Wears Prada 2, The Odyssey, The End of Oak Street, and in October, the Colleen Hoover adaptation Verity. It is, by any measure, a staggering run — and she's doing it all with one very high-profile passenger in tow.
