She's already conquered the screen, the recording studio and New York's runways — and now Ella Bleu Travolta has added Paris Fashion Week to her ever-expanding portfolio. The 26-year-old daughter of John Travolta and the late Kelly Preston made her Paris runway debut at Miu Miu's Spring/Summer 2027 show on Sunday, 4 October, cementing her status as one of the most quietly compelling rising talents in entertainment.
A Star-Studded Runway
Ella Bleu was in formidable company on the Miu Miu catwalk. She shared the runway with supermodel Gigi Hadid, Oscar-winner Olivia Colman, The Crown's Emma Corrin, Hamnet star Noah Jupe, and Meryl Streep's daughter Louisa Jacobson — a line-up that blurred the line between fashion and film in typically Miu Miu fashion. For the show itself, Ella Bleu wore an oversized dark green blazer, patterned blouse and dark trousers with contrasting details. She later attended the brand's after-party at the Palais d'Iéna wearing a green suit with contrasting brown details, carrying a dark leather bag.

It was not her first brush with the Italian label this year, either. She had chosen a Miu Miu 1950s-style floral dress for the New York premiere of Propeller One-Way Night Coach in May — her father's directorial debut and her first major on-screen role. Writing on Instagram at the time, she called it a landmark moment: 'This whole week has been a dream, as has this dress.'
A Father's Grand Plan
The Paris debut is the latest milestone in what has clearly been a carefully orchestrated introduction to the world. John Travolta, 72, has been open about the thought he put into positioning his daughter's career — drawing on some of Hollywood's most enduring icons as a blueprint.
'I had a plan to introduce Ella to the world as an adult, in the style of Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly… it made a big impression, so, you know, I'm so proud of her.'
He made those remarks during a joint appearance on the Today show in May, when the pair had just returned from Cannes, where Propeller One-Way Night Coach — based on Travolta's own 1997 children's book — was screened. The father and daughter toured the festival hand in hand, and Travolta was awarded an Honorary Palme d'Or for his contribution to cinema during the same trip.

On Instagram in April, Travolta had already set the scene, sharing a post from the Fashion Trust US Awards red carpet with a message to his followers: 'So proud of my baby girl @ella.bleu at the 2026 Fashion Trust US Awards pink carpet. Look out for Ella in my directorial debut, Propeller One-Way Night Coach.'
Music, Memory and Moving Forward
Fashion and film are only part of the picture. Ella Bleu released her debut EP Colors of Love in 2024, and one track in particular has drawn attention for its raw emotional honesty. 'Little Bird' is a tribute to her mother, Kelly Preston, who died of breast cancer in 2020.
'When you lose someone… sometimes other people's emotions or feelings can get in the way of your own. You don't always know what you're feeling, but it was really nice to express it in the form of music. I think music is one of the best forms of communication.'
She shared those thoughts with Hunger magazine, and they offer a glimpse of the quiet depth behind the glossy headline moments. Preston and Travolta also have a son, Benjamin, 15; their older son Jett tragically died in 2009, aged 16.

Ella Bleu first stepped onto a runway at New York Fashion Week in 2022, walking in Karl Lagerfeld's 'Cara Loves Karl' show. The leap from New York to Paris — and from Miu Miu's front row to its catwalk — reflects just how swiftly her profile has grown. As for her father's role in all of it, she put it simply when speaking to Parade in 2023: 'He's my biggest fan and I'm his biggest fan — so there's a lot of support going on, which is amazing. I learn so much from him all the time.'
Given the pace at which she's moving, the world may soon be learning from her.
