There's mixing high and low, and then there's Kylie Jenner wearing over $100,000 worth of diamond jewellery alongside a £2.40 plastic tiara from a craft shop. The beauty mogul's latest Instagram post has stopped the internet in its tracks — and honestly, it's the $3 crown doing all the heavy lifting.
The jewels in question
The poolside selfie series, shared over the weekend, saw Jenner dressed in a black metallic Frankies Bikinis x Khy bikini — her own brand's collaboration — but it was the accessories that sent fashion lovers into a spin. On her fingers alone she wore three serious diamond rings: a Sixteen Stone band by Tiffany & Co. ($18,200), a Tiffany HardWear link ring ($16,800), and a chunky Panthère de Cartier style ring valued at $66,000. Add in her bejewelled phone case and silver Khy x Gia Borghini wedge heels, and the overall look was immaculately, aggressively luxurious.

And then there was the tiara. A children's dress-up crown from Michaels, studded with plastic gems and featuring a giant heart at its centre, perched on top of it all. It costs $3. It was, by every measure, the best thing in the photo.
The $3 Michaels tiara sitting among six figures of diamonds is the kind of styling choice that no amount of money can actually buy — it just takes confidence.
The Cartier connection
Jenner has been leaning heavily into the Cartier Panthère collection of late, which may have something to do with the fact that her boyfriend, Timothée Chalamet, is a brand ambassador. The couple wore matching smaller Panthère rings at the BAFTAs in 2025, and Jenner has since been spotted in a Panthère pendant necklace, stud earrings and a diamond-encrusted Panthère de Cartier watch, which she wore courtside with Chalamet during the NBA playoffs last year.

It's a full brand immersion — the kind that happens when your partner is the face of one of the world's most recognisable jewellery houses. Jenner is also said to own multiple Cartier Love bracelets, cementing her status as one of the maison's most loyal celebrity devotees.

What she's been building beyond the bling
The swimwear look also doubles as a quiet advertisement for Khy, Jenner's clothing brand, which she launched in 2023 and which has been on something of a roll. The Frankies Bikinis x Khy partnership was a summer hit, and the brand recently dropped its first-ever shoe line in collaboration with Italian label Gia Borghini — three styles of heeled sandals, handcrafted in Italy, available in colourways from black leather to metallic chrome.
'I've worn Gia Borghini for years, so this one felt right. I got to create my dream footwear for KHY, handmade in Italy. I reworked every detail over and over until they felt just right and completely effortless.'
It's a brand that's clearly maturing — and Jenner's Instagram content is doing double duty as both personal lifestyle diary and very effective marketing. The silver Khy x Gia Borghini wedge heels she wore in the poolside photos are from that very debut shoe collection.
Still, for all the business nous and designer firepower on display, it's the plastic tiara — reportedly borrowed from daughter Stormi's dress-up collection — that's generating the most conversation online. A reminder, perhaps, that the most memorable styling moments aren't always the most expensive ones.
