The Wait Is Almost Over
Apple TV has dropped the highly anticipated trailer for Silo season 3, and if you thought things were intense before, just you wait. Rebecca Ferguson returns as Juliette — engineer, survivor, and now a woman who doesn't even know her own mind. Literally. After the explosive season 2 finale, Juliette finds herself back in a position of authority within the silo, but with one devastating twist: her memories have been wiped and replaced with implanted ones designed to keep her compliant. The truth, naturally, has other ideas.
New Faces, Old Secrets
Season 3 isn't just bringing back its beloved core cast — which includes Common, Harriet Walter, Chinaza Uche, Avi Nash and Clare Perkins — it's also welcoming a seriously impressive wave of new talent. Laura Innes, Jessica Brown Findlay, Colin Hanks, Steve Zahn, Reed Birney and Matt Craven all join the show, alongside Ashley Zukerman and Jessica Henwick, whose characters — Congressman Daniel Keene and journalist Helen Drew — are set to play a much bigger role this series. Set in the mysterious "Before Times", their storyline promises to finally start answering some of the show's biggest questions about how the world ended up this way.
"The truth lies in the past"
Critics Are Already Calling It One of the Best Sci-Fi Shows on TV
Silo has quietly become one of Apple TV's crown jewels, earning an 88% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes for its first season before climbing even higher to 92% for season 2. Collider called it "one of the best sci-fi TV shows today", praising the sharp writing and atmospheric world-building anchored by what they described as a profound and affecting performance from Ferguson. Radio Times gave season 2 a full five stars, while Total Film singled out the show's extraordinary set design as a particular highlight. With 20 award nominations and four wins already to its name, the pressure is on — and from the looks of that trailer, the team is more than ready to deliver.
When Can You Watch It?
Silo season 3 premieres on Apple TV on Friday, 3 July, with new episodes dropping every Friday through to 4 September — that's 10 episodes in total. Seasons 1 and 2 are already available to stream now, so there's still time to catch up before Juliette's fight for survival kicks back into gear. And for those already worried about the ending: fear not. Season 4 has already been greenlit, so the silo's story is far from finished.
