The pop star joined husband Callum Turner on the red carpet at the New York City premiere of his new film One Night Only on Monday, marking the couple's first official red carpet appearance since their wedding earlier this summer. The film, which also stars Monica Barbaro, Este Haim and Maya Hawke, follows Turner's character on the one night in New York when sex is legal.
A Gown With a Story Behind It
Lipa arrived in a custom Ferragamo creation designed by Maximilian Davis — a choice loaded with sentimental significance. Ferragamo was the same Italian house that made Turner's suit for their Marylebone town hall civil ceremony, making the label something of an unofficial thread running through their wedding story. The gown itself featured a deep V-neckline that plunged almost to the waist, an equally dramatic low back, and layers of silk fringe that nodded to a 1920s flapper sensibility. A scarf-like train completed the look, styled by Lorenzo Posocco alongside a matching clutch and pumps.
The silhouette, a sleek halterneck with a trailing element, also mirrored those from her wedding wardrobe — including both her Bottega Veneta party dress and her ceremony gown itself — suggesting that even off-duty from her bridal era, certain aesthetic instincts have stuck.
The Jewels That Stole the Show
As a global ambassador for Bulgari, Lipa was draped in the house's iconic Serpenti motif from wrist to ear. A gold wrap-around bracelet and matching ring sat alongside the headline piece: a pair of diamond-encrusted snake head earrings valued at $67,000. She wore no necklace, letting the trailing scarf detail and the earrings do the talking. The same Serpenti motif featured in her jewellery on her wedding day, so it reads less like a sponsorship obligation and more like a genuine signature at this point.
The elaborate wedding gown reportedly took 1,155 hours of needlework and featured 480,000 beads, with 25,000 feathers lining it — a custom bridal commission from Chanel's new creative director Matthieu Blazy.
Turner, for his part, was sharp in a midnight blue double-breasted Louis Vuitton suit — the house for which he is a brand ambassador — worn with a butter yellow shirt and a brown and yellow striped tie. He also wore a Louis Vuitton suit at their wedding, making the pair's brand loyalties something of a running theme across the biggest milestones of their relationship so far. He added a sweet touch on the carpet, planting a kiss on Lipa's cheek for photographers.
A Busy Return From the Honeymoon
The premiere came hot on the heels of a packed few weeks for the newlyweds. After returning from their honeymoon in Italy, Lipa was spotted regularly at Electric Lady Studios in Manhattan before heading to Kosovo to attend her family's charitable Sunny Hill Festival over the weekend. The "Dance the Night" singer shows few signs of easing into a quieter post-wedding chapter — which, given Monday night's showing, suits her rather well.
