She may be 62, but Courteney Cox is showing absolutely no signs of slowing down — and a sun-drenched weekend in Hawaii on 10th October has given the world a very good reminder of that fact.

The Friends star was spotted taking a blissful ocean swim near the Four Seasons Resort Lanai ahead of the star-studded wedding of her close friend Jennifer Meyer, who tied the knot with billionaire heir Geoff Ogunlesi in a lavish ceremony on the island. Cox turned heads in a black sweetheart bikini set — complete with thick spaghetti straps and low-rise bottoms — accessorised with two thick layered gold necklaces and gold earrings. Her dark hair was swept into a sleek high ponytail as she made her way through the warm Hawaiian waves, looking every inch the Hollywood icon she is.

A Wedding Weekend to Remember

Cox was far from the only A-lister making a splash. Leonardo DiCaprio, Kate Hudson, and Tobey Maguire — who was himself married to bride Jennifer Meyer from 2007 to 2016 — were all photographed enjoying the ocean at the luxury resort ahead of the nuptials. In a particularly touching moment, Maguire reportedly officiated the ceremony itself, a gesture that speaks volumes about the remarkably warm terms on which the former couple have remained.

Later that day, Cox attended the outdoor wedding in a crisp white elbow-length dress shirt paired with a long black skirt — a quietly bold choice given the traditional no-white-at-weddings rule — and was photographed sharing a tender moment with the bride, holding Meyer's shoulders as the pair spoke during the celebrations.

The Secrets Behind That Figure

Cox has long been open about the discipline behind her enviable physique, crediting a mix of Pilates, interval training, and weekend tennis for keeping her in such remarkable shape.

"I do Pilates three times a week with an amazing teacher, Jessica McTighe. I'm also into walking, then running. I walk for a minute, then I run for a minute. I try to do that for 30 minutes, three times a week," she told New You.

Her approach to nutrition is equally considered. Cox has spoken about her morning ritual of cucumber, pineapple, ginger and lemon juice — a habit that followed two years of dedicated celery juicing — rounded off with a cup of decaf coffee with oat milk and honey.

Life After Johnny McDaid

The Hawaii trip comes amid a significant period of personal change for Cox. She and Snow Patrol musician Johnny McDaid, with whom she had been in a relationship for 13 years after meeting at a party in 2013 through their mutual friend Ed Sheeran, have not been spotted together publicly since September 2025, when they appeared at the US Open. The pair had previously navigated a brief split in 2015, reconciling a year later after what Cox described as an intensely painful period.

"He just broke up within the first minute. And I was like, what? We were engaged, and I was so shocked. I was in so much pain," she recalled on the Minnie Questions with Minnie Driver podcast.

Whatever the future holds romantically, Cox is clearly not dwelling. Between solo beach holidays, TIFF red carpets with her daughter Coco Arquette — with whom she made a rare joint appearance in September — and a new chapter behind the camera directing her film Evil Genius, the actress appears to be thriving on every front. At 62, she is very much living her best life.
