The most guarded guest list in showbiz
Taylor Swift has never been one to do things by halves — and if the swirling reports around her upcoming wedding to Travis Kelce are anything to go by, the event is shaping up to be the most meticulously controlled celebrity occasion in years. According to multiple entertainment outlets, guests invited to the couple's reported 3rd July celebration at Madison Square Garden in New York City are required to sign non-disclosure agreements before receiving so much as a single logistical detail about the day.
It is, by every measure, the hottest invitation of 2025 — and one that comes with considerable small print attached.
"They both have a close circle of friends, and they'll respect their privacy," a source told PEOPLE, confirming the event will be a "private affair."
A carefully curated guest list
Among those reportedly on the list are some of the biggest names in music and entertainment: Ed Sheeran, Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, Zoë Kravitz, Suki Waterhouse, Karlie Kloss and the Haim sisters. One name generating particular interest is rising singer-songwriter Sombr, who is said to have received an invitation after forging a close friendship with Swift in recent months. The pair have been spotted together on several occasions, and Sombr performed during Swift's Songwriters Hall of Fame induction celebration — a significant gesture of trust from an artist who guards her inner circle closely.
Neither Swift, Kelce, nor Sombr has publicly commented on the reported invitation or any other details surrounding the celebration.
Swift and Kelce got engaged in August 2025 after nearly two years together, with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end proposing at his Missouri home. The couple subsequently confirmed the news via social media, sending the internet into a frenzy that has barely subsided since.
A lifetime of wedding prep
If atmosphere and sentiment are anything to go by, the pair arrive at their own nuptials thoroughly well-rehearsed. Between them, Swift and Kelce have attended a remarkable number of weddings over the years — both separately and, more recently, side by side.
Swift's wedding CV alone reads like a who's who of celebrity milestones. She served as maid of honour at childhood friend Britany Maack's 2016 Pennsylvania wedding, writing on Instagram at the time: "I met her when I was 10 days old, and him in kindergarten. Now they're married and I'm the happiest maid of honor ever." She was a bridesmaid at Abigail Anderson's Martha's Vineyard ceremony in 2017, at Lena Dunham's London wedding, and — most recently — played a central role in best friend Selena Gomez's September 2025 marriage to Benny Blanco, delivering a speech and helping Gomez get ready before she walked down the aisle.

Kelce, for his part, danced the night away at Patrick and Brittany Mahomes's 2022 wedding, and the couple have since attended several celebrations together — including the 2024 wedding of Kelce's cousin Tanner Corum in Knoxville, Tennessee, where a TikTok clip caught the pair coordinating dance moves in their seats during the first dance.
What we know — and don't
Precise details about the reported Madison Square Garden celebration remain unconfirmed, and the NDA wall means they are likely to stay that way until the day itself — if not considerably longer.

What is clear is that fan anticipation is at fever pitch, and Swift's team appear determined to keep proceedings as tightly controlled as humanly possible when the bride in question is arguably the most famous woman on the planet.
"Are you even serious? What? Look at her. Oh, my God!" Swift was heard saying in a video Gomez shared ahead of her own wedding ceremony last year — a glimpse at the warmth Swift brings to the weddings of those closest to her.
Whether the world gets a similar glimpse into her own big day remains to be seen. Given the NDAs, do not hold your breath.
