You saw Lily Allen's Instagram post. You wondered what she was up to. Now you have your answer — and it's a good one.
The Smile singer has secretly recorded a new version of Beg For Me — a track from her raw, critically lauded comeback album West End Girl — with none other than Jade Thirlwall. The collab drops tomorrow.
The Post That Started It All
On Tuesday night, Lily shared a teaser video on Instagram with the caption: "Oops decided I'm not done ;)) got another song for youuu." Fans immediately went into meltdown trying to guess what was coming.

Now we know. The Angel Of My Dreams singer has lent her voice to one of the most emotionally charged songs on an album that already had the nation gripped.
Why This Album Hit So Hard
West End Girl arrived last October and stopped everyone in their tracks. It charted the brutal, intimate collapse of Lily's marriage to Stranger Things actor David Harbour — and the music world sat up and took notice.
In January, Lily confirmed she was planning a remix version, with different female artists reimagining each track. Jade Thirlwall as the first confirmed name? That's a statement.
Could Jade Be Lily's Mighty Hoopla Surprise?
Here's where it gets exciting. Lily headlines Mighty Hoopla at Brockwell Park in South London this Saturday — and she's already hinted that surprises are in store for the crowd.
Jade is a devoted fan of the festival and performed there herself last year. With a brand new collab dropping the day before the show, a guest appearance feels less like a rumour and more like a plan.
Watch this space — Saturday night in South London just became unmissable.
