Millie Bobby Brown knows how to make an entrance. The 22-year-old actress turned heads on Friday evening at Lake Como's waterfront restaurant La Terrazza Gualtiero Marchesi, arriving by boat alongside husband Jake Bongiovi, 24, in what has to be one of the most talked-about outfit combinations of the summer.
The look in question? A floor-length, high-neck maxi dress from affordable Australian label Princess Polly — retailing at just $109 — finished off with a staggering $57,000 Bulgari Serpenti Tubogas watch in yellow gold. The dress, the Darwinn style, features a sequinned band at the low waist and a striking open back and sides, which gave onlookers a glimpse of Brown's ribcage tattoo: the word "Ruth", a tribute to her late grandmother.
A Glimpse Into the Ink
Brown's tattoo collection has long been a point of fascination for fans. The "Ruth" tribute sits alongside two small floral tattoos on her back, the initials "JB" on her ankle in honour of her husband, and the number "011" on her wrist — a nod to her iconic Stranger Things character, Eleven.
The couple linked arms as they disembarked their boat at the waterfront restaurant, Brown clutching a floral tote in her other hand.
The pair, who began dating in 2021 and tied the knot in 2024, looked every inch the loved-up couple as they made their way ashore.
Earlier that same day, the family of three had been spotted boarding a water taxi together, with Brown dressed in a red two-piece set — a rather more casual outing that included their one-year-old daughter, whom the couple adopted last summer.
A New Chapter in Parenthood
Brown and Bongiovi announced the adoption of their daughter in August 2025, releasing a joint statement that read warmly but kept details sparse.
"We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy," the couple wrote at the time.
True to their word, neither parent has publicly revealed their daughter's name. Fans have been busy speculating, however — many suggesting the little girl could be named Ruth, after Brown's grandmother, following the actress being spotted wearing a nameplate necklace bearing the name.
Bon Jovi, Bistros and Polka Dots
The Lake Como evening capped off a sociable week for the couple. Earlier in the week, Brown and Bongiovi dined in London with Jake's father, rock legend Jon Bon Jovi, at Dorian — the trendy Notting Hill bistro that has become something of a celebrity favourite.
For that occasion, Brown opted for a distinctly retro vibe: polka-dot capri trousers, also from Princess Polly, paired with a black tank top and a beige cardigan.
