According to reports from TMZ, guests began arriving at Swift's beachfront mansion on Thursday, with the celebrations continuing across the following days before winding down by Saturday. Eyewitness footage and photographs circulating on social media captured dazzling bursts of fireworks lighting up the night sky above Watch Hill, sending speculation into overdrive. Some users on X were convinced they were witnessing a secret ceremony; others settled on the more likely explanation of a lavish pre-wedding bash with her inner circle.
Every Tent Becomes a Theory
The frenzy is nothing new for Watch Hill, a quietly affluent New England seaside village close to the Connecticut border where Swift has owned a home for more than a decade. But this week, the arrival of a large tent next door to the estate was all it took to send rumour mills spinning across both the local community and the internet.

For Westerly Police Department community service officer Nick Quaratella, managing the steady flow of curious visitors has become a fixture of his working week. For two summers he has stood at the entrance to a public beach path beside Swift's estate, answering questions and keeping traffic flowing — occasionally with a touch of mischief.
"I'll say, 'Oh, did you hear that she moved?' And they'll say, 'No.' And I say, 'Yeah, Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson moved in.' And they'll go, 'Oh, really?' and then they'll walk away," he said. "That's pretty funny."
Quaratella has seen everything over the years — fans on their knees bowing toward the estate gate, shouts of "I love you, Taylor!" from the roadside, and one grandmother who convinced her granddaughter he was Swift's personal security guard and posed for a photograph with him.
