It's not every night that one of Hollywood's biggest stars hops on a hire bike to Times Square just to catch a glimpse of her own billboard — but then again, Sydney Sweeney has never been one to do things by halves.

The Euphoria actress and music mogul Scooter Braun are continuing to make their romance one of the most talked-about in showbusiness, with Braun sharing footage of the pair's late-night New York City adventure on Instagram this week — and fans absolutely cannot get enough of it.

'When you're in bed at 11pm and your girl says "I've never been to Times Square…."'

That was Braun's caption as he documented the couple cycling incognito on Citi Bikes through Manhattan to see Sweeney's latest American Eagle advertising campaign lighting up one of the world's most famous squares. The pair also ducked into a Shake Shack, with Braun filming his girlfriend happily tucking into a burger — very much the relatable couple content the internet had been waiting for.

From 'Casual' to Committed

For those who've been keeping track, this relationship has come a long way rather quickly. Sweeney, 28, and Braun, 44 — the powerful manager behind the careers of Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande — first set tongues wagging when they were photographed together at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez's lavish Venice wedding in the summer of 2025. What followed was months of increasingly public appearances, from sun-soaked Florida Keys weekends to a family date night at Universal Studios Hollywood, where Braun was spotted walking hand-in-hand with Sweeney alongside her mum and dad.

By December 2025, insiders were making it very clear this was no casual fling. 'Scooter and Sydney are going strong and things between them are great,' a source told People magazine. 'They're in a committed relationship and things are serious.'

The couple officially hard-launched on Instagram on 1st May, sharing cosy snaps from a weekend at the Stagecoach music festival in California. Sweeney captioned hers 'cowboy kind of weekend ♥️', while Braun posted his own set of photos with the rather charming line: 'Stagecoach delivered a lucky cowboy.'

Speaking on the Second Thought podcast, Braun has been openly smitten, describing the relationship as 'one of the biggest surprises ever' and calling Sweeney 'an extraordinary woman, kind and generous and smart and real and down to earth.'

The Euphoria Scenes That Never Made It to Screen

Meanwhile, fans of Sweeney's other big role have been given a tantalising glimpse at what might have been in the final season of Euphoria. Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, who played the menacing villain Alamo in Season 3, has revealed that several scenes he filmed with Sweeney's character Cassie ended up on the cutting room floor.

Speaking to Collider, the British actor — best known to many as Mr Eko in Lost and from his role in Suicide Squad — explained what one of the deleted sequences involved.

'It was an interesting scene. It was just a progression from Maddy now being in debt to Alamo, and part of that debt was also going to be paid by me owning Cassie, and basically, everything she's earning is going directly into my pocket. She was demonstrating how she was going to work in my club.'

He also teased that there were potential scenes between Alamo and Maude Apatow's Lexi that never came to fruition, describing what a 'great juxtaposition' the two characters could have been. 'She's so prudish and judgmental, and he's who he is,' he said. 'I would have enjoyed seeing Alamo corrupt her.'

HBO confirmed last month that Euphoria has concluded its run after three seasons, with no Season 4 in the pipeline — meaning those deleted scenes may never see the light of day, much to the frustration of the show's devoted fanbase.

Why UK Fans Are Watching Closely

For British audiences, Sweeney has become one of the most compelling figures in entertainment right now. Her performance in Euphoria made her a household name on this side of the Atlantic, and her upcoming thriller The Housemaid is already generating significant buzz. Add in a very public and apparently very sweet romance, and it's fair to say Sydney Sweeney's star has never burned brighter — even at 11 o'clock on a Tuesday night in Times Square.
