Picture this: you're sitting on the sofa, watching Toy Story 5 with the kids, and suddenly the coolest pizza slice you've ever seen glides onto screen wearing sunglasses. That's Bad Bunny now. That's his life.
The Character That Was Made for Him
Disney has confirmed that the Puerto Rican superstar — real name Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio — will voice a character called Pizza With Sunglasses in Toy Story 5. The studio describes him as "effortlessly cool and mysterious." Honestly? They didn't even have to try that hard.
"A member of a small but mighty community of forgotten toys that live in an abandoned backyard shed."
The forgotten toy living in a shed? There's poetry in that. The King of Latin Trap, voicing a discarded pizza toy who's somehow still the coolest thing in the room. Disney understood the assignment.
He's Not the Only Surprise in the Cast
Bad Bunny will be joined by Scottish actor Alan Cumming, best known to UK audiences as the host of The Traitors US. Cumming voices an evil version of Bullseye — yes, Woody's beloved horse has apparently gone full villain. Nobody is safe in this film.
The pair join returning favourites Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, and Joan Cusack, plus Greta Lee voicing Lilypad — a sinister smart tablet threatening owner Bonnie's wellbeing. Extremely 2025 of them.
A Year That's Already Been Ridiculous
This Toy Story cameo is almost a footnote in what has been a staggering 12 months for Bad Bunny. He headlined the Super Bowl half-time show, became Spotify's most-played global artist, and made Grammy history when his album Debí Tirar Más Fotos became the first primarily Spanish-language LP to win Album of the Year.
He's also been quietly building a serious film career — from Brad Pitt's Bullet Train to a starring role opposite Javier Bardem and Edward Norton in the upcoming Porto Rico. A WWE return is reportedly also on the table. The man simply does not stop.
Toy Story 5 hits cinemas on 19 June. Pizza With Sunglasses awaits.
